Biosciences and Bioengineering for Health laboratory (BGE) conducts scientific and technological
complementary work. It coordinates its research to implement its global scientific project aiming at the identification of biomarkers and therapeutic targets, the study of their function, their use for diagnosis and for the development of new therapeutic solutions in the form of drug candidates or biotherapies derived from cell and tissue engineering, as well as tools for bioinformatics analysis of experimental data, mainly in metabolic diseases and cancer.
