In collaboration with the Biology of Cancer and Infection laboratory at our Institute and with the CHU Grenoble, we have identified a novel mechanism of virulence in a strain of P. aeruginosa. It is a new toxin released near the cell and not the most known toxins or needle of the traditional type III secretion system (T3SS).
