Researchers at the large scale biology laboratory have achieved the first micro-bioreactor with the size of a credit card and carrying crop of about 250 µl. Mammalian cells proliferate on microbeads. At the end of the crop cycle, some of the micro-beads can be kept to revive a culture, allowing several cycles of cultivation on the long term.
