Mitochondrial miRNA



miRNAs are small RNAs that suppress expression of a gene. Several are known as being tumor suppressors and they offer a new space for the discovery of therapeutic ​​targets and biomarkers. Researchers at the Large Scale Biology laboratory have identified miRNAs in human mitochondria.
