Des pores artificiels capables de piéger des molécules

Researchers at our laboratory and at SPrAM laboratory(INAC/DSM) have discovered a new ultra-localized deposition technique of an organic or inorganic material on the inner wall of a pore. It allows to restrict the attachment of the probes to the inside of the pore, without any parasitic deposition on the membrane itself. This work paves the way for the production of functionalized pores for the separation, purification or the specific capture of macromolecules or particles such as bacteria or cells.
