OptiLink: Generation of scripts for controlling a protein crystallisation platform robot

Scientific context
The crystallization platform offers the opportunity to test many crystallization solutions from commercial kits (about 1000 conditions). This screening step being completely automated, the researchers can quickly obtain information on crystallization conditions of their samples.
Sometimes it is necessary to optimize the crystallization conditions. This step can be long and complex.
Description of the project
In order to simplify the optimization of crystallization conditions, the platform has developed a software called OptiCrys: it allows to virtually define the content of a crystallization plate.
The project realized with the GIPSE team has yielded to the development of the OptiLink software. It allows to generate scripts that control the robot used to fill crystallization plates defined with OptiCrys.
The OptiLink software is distributed under the CeCILL-C license on the IBS website.

Desktop application developed with Java (Swing, Spring, AspectJ, JUnit).
